Closed Loop Water System - Water System for Water Savings
This complete system delivers all the essentials for proper dual seal operation, while eliminating the need for a flow through supply. Internal circulation is provided by an internal pumping ring, standard in all Chesterton dual seals. This closed loop system is maintenance free and automatically compensates for any loss of barrier fluid. No regular level checks or manual filling are required. The system is delivered pre-assembled, will all required fittings, tubing, and controls, ready to be installed.
Intelli-flow - T30 Intelli-flow Water Saver
Intelliflow water saver is the ultimate flow controller for dual mechanical seals. The intelliflow features a thermally activated valve that automatically drains hot barrier only when it is necessary to keep the seal running cool and reliable. With intelliflow over 90% savings in water usage is achievable compared to traditional open dual seal water supply systems found commonly in industry.
Support Tank - Support Tanks for Dual Seals.
Mechanical seal support systems are the lifeline to dual, liquid lubricated mechanical seals. By providing a dedicated lubrication system, mechanical seal performance will be optimized. Other, less efficient systems will compromise seal performance and reliability goals. This high-capacity support tank is designed with versatility in mind. The Chesterton high-capacity, three-gallon tank provides 50% more liquid volume as compared to conventional tanks. Increased heat removal will provide a cooler seal environment. Lower operating temperatures mean greater reliability and reduced seal leakage rates. One tank can reliably satisfy a wide range of applications.
ISS - Inflatable Safety Seal
The Chesterton Inflatable Safety Seal is an on-demand static shaft sealing device. This contained pneumatic inflatable bladder assembly is used in conjunction with a mechanical seal. The ISS plate firmly affixes to the process equipment, and the mechanical seal is then bolted to it. The ISS is designed to act as a static seal in the event of unacceptable mechanical seal leakage. It can also function as an interim static seal during mechanical seal rebuild. The robust system adds an element of security and flexibility to any sealing application.
