280M - Mixer Cartridge Dual Seal
Every aspect of the Chesterton 280 design is optimized for high reliability in demanding conditions. The 280 motion tolerant dual seal withstands run-out and end-play common to mixers, double ended or vertical turbine pumps and other rotating equipment. Instant pressure shift capability eliminates worries under jarring purge and reverse pressure cycles. Vibration isolated faces thrive under conditions of drag and shear that destroy common seals. Internal cooling results in stable, long-life sealing.
4410 - Slow Speed Gas Cartridge Dual Seal
A seal for all purposes! The 4410 bridges advanced gas seal technology to the practical world of process systems with common installation practices and no special training required. A self contained "in gland" control system makes it possible to install like a standard cartridge seal. Just pipe the gas supply to the gland inlet and start the pump.
HVS - High Viscosity Cartridge Seal
HVS is the new recommendation for applications that exceed the performance limits of the conventional seals. Unlike standard face seals, the HVS uses an engineered polymer sealing element that can withstand the torque, shear and frictional heat common when sealing in viscous and dry run environments. Triple contact surfaces moulded into the rugged, single piece sealing element provide high reliability in an easy-to-use, versatile and economical cartridge seal design.
