440 - External Single Seal
For corrosive and other general services. The 440 is a low-cost replacement for seals made from exotic or expensive materials. No metal parts touch sealed fluid. Prevents damage to glass-lined shafts, hydraulically balanced, no sleeve or stepped sleeve needed.
491 - DIN Rotary Internal Single Seal
Chesterton’s 491 Component Mechanical Seal is a high performance, single component seal. It is capable of addressing a wide variety of applications. The 491 can be run against many different stationary seal rings for maximum flexibility in many applications. 2. Non-fretting design will not destroy shaft sleeve or any metal parts 3. 886HT - High Temperature Metal Bellows Single Seal
Balanced nesting ripple rotary metal bellows seal for general service in the petrochemical and chemical industry. To achieve maximum bellows plate thickness while not compromising the bellows spring rate, Chesterton uses a twelve convolution bellows core, which means controlled spring rate, lower heat generation and greater seal reliability throughout the operating range. The rotary bellows design is self cleaning in process fluids containing solids.
891 - Rotary inside Single Seal
Chesterton’s 891 Component Mechanical Seal is a balanced high performance, component single seal. The 891 can be run against many different stationary seal rings for maximum flexibility in many applications. It is a non-fretting design that will not damage the shaft sleeve or any metal parts within the seal.
1210 - Component Dual Seal
The 1210 is a balanced dual seal of the component design. This seal combines the Chesterton 880/440 rotary heads with a self aligning stationary (SAS) ceramic seat. This proven technology provides long lasting performance in challenging chemical applications.
